British railway axle counters have joined the Key Model World Shop with release of a 3D printed design by PJM Models for ‘OO’ gauge. It was originally created for Pete Waterman’s Making Tracks layouts and they are available now as a 10 pack.

Axle counters are positioned at the beginning and end of a track section and count the numbers of axles entering and leaving the section. They have been used to replace traditional track circuits on the British railway network during infrastructure upgrades in recent years and are suited to privatisation era layouts.

The 3D printed models from PJM are offered in packs of 10. They are supplied in plain grey and require painting and positioning on a layout.

These new axle counters are available now exclusively from the Key Model World Shop.
