This annual bookazine aims to deliver a roundup of the most exciting action from the ranks of two of the world s premier air arms including insightful interviews and reporting from the cutting edge of naval aviation.

Few stories are bigger in US Naval Aviation right now than the Initial Operating Capability of the F-35C Lightning II. VFA-147 Argonauts is the navy's first operational fleet unit and it has declared an initial warfighting standard, and is now building up to prepare for its first cruise.

VFA-147 will make its first deployment aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) in 2021, marking the first time a carrier air wing with include the Lightning II in its inventory.

In this issue of the Yearbook we also present an exclusive interview with the commanding officer of TOPGUN as the school marks its 50th anniversary.
