GSMR Radio Masts Twin Pack for OO Gauge
PJM Models GSM-R radio masts are now available exclusively from the Key Model World Shop, adding a modern lineside detail to the 3D-printed collection for ‘OO’ gauge.
The radio masts were originally designed for Pete Waterman’s Making Tracks layout and will be supplied as a twin pack.
The radio masts used by Network Rail for its Global System for Mobile Communications - Railway (GSM-R) are now available for ‘OO’ gauge with release of the PJM Models 3D-printed model on the Key Model World Shop.
The real masts deliver secure communication between drivers and signallers to increase safety on the railway and improve performance of train operations. Network Rail has invested £1.86 billion in the system.
The 3D-printed masts are 245mm tall and have a 15mm square base. They require removal from the print supports, painting and installation on a layout to complete.
