The Focke-Wulf Fw190 was a single-seat single-engine fighter aircraft operated by the Luftwaffe. It was introduced in 1941 during the Second World War, had 10m wingspan and maximum speed of 685km/h. More than 20,000 were built and they were also operated by Hungarian and Turkish airforces with the last being stood down in 1949.
The 1/72 kit for the Focke-Wulf Fw190 (Cat No. 7470) features injection moulded plastic components throughout together with clear glazing. Transfers for four Luftwaffe schemes for Eastern and Western fronts are included in the Weekend Kit as standard while our boxing contains SPACE 3D instrument panel decals for the Fw190 to add a new dimension to the cockpit.
As well as the Eduard Fw190, the Key Model World Shop also has stock of the same supplier's Spitfire Mk.IXc (Cat No. 7466) with SPACE decals. Why not build the pair and create your own 'dogfight double'?
