Lineside structures make a layout come to life and Hornby’s new TT:120 scale signal box is ready to plant and the perfect addition for any model railway. Buy now from the Key Model World Shop for £29.99 (RRP £32.49).

Signal boxes could once be found covering Britain’s railway network, at almost every station, junction and set of sidings. Used to control signals, points, level crossings and the safe operation of a railway, a signal box is a crucial structure for any model railway.

Based on a popular Midland Railway design and featured along the famous Settle & Carlisle Railway, the new Hornby TT9004 signal box is a highly detailed and accurate replica of ‘boxes found across the Midlands and north.

Moulded in resin, the signal box is fully decorated in a smart green and white colour scheme matching Hornby’s accompanying Settle & Carlisle buildings and is ready to plant on any TT:120 scale model railway. A resin shell provides a strong structure, with finely rendered etched metal window frames, clear glazing and accurately detailed woodwork, staircase and decorative bargeboards.

Well suited to modelling any location across the Midland network, the new signal box is an ideal structure for any layout in TT:120 scale. Perfectly complementing Hornby’s growing range of TT:120 locomotives, rolling stock and Settle & Carlisle structures, this signal box suits any era through to the present day.

  • Ready-assembled resin signal box
  • 58mm (L), 33mm (W), 62mm (H)
