Adding points to a model railway is a perfect way to grow a model railway, from adding more interest to a trainset and right through to modelling extensive marshalling yards with a complex array of point work.

Fully compatible with track included with Hornby’s TT:120 trainsets, this left-hand point features a 6th radius curve turnout and matches those included with starter trainsets and track packs. With a curve a radius of 15 degrees, this point matches the 6th radius curve produced by Hornby and provides a smooth curve for trains to negotiate.

The TT8008 left hand point is fitted with an insulated frog, the point requires no additional wiring or insulated rail joiners and can be made ‘live’ for DCC operation with the TT8035 turnout clips. The curve track section follows a 640mm long 15-degree curve and consists of code 80 rail with pre-fitted rail joiners, while the tiebar includes a central hole for point motors.
