The conflict in the Far East began and ended with two of the most cataclysmic events of the World War Two Pearl Harbor and the releasing of the atomic bombs.

In between these epoch-changing actions a savage war was fought across vast swathes of the Pacific and Southeast Asia, which saw the forces of Imperial Japan overrunning the Philippines, the Dutch East Indies, the Soloman Islands, Singapore and many other territories in or bordering the Pacific.

This commemorative 116-page publication chronicles the conflict and follows the allies progress in winning back the occupied territories and bringing the war to an end.
