Special Hobby's newly tooled 1/72 scale USAF F-84F is out now and offers a finely detailed injection moulded kit for the 'Swept-wing Thunder' (SH72395) together with a pre-cut set of masks (M72049) to aid painting of the glazing and wheels.

Highlights of the Special Hobby F-84F including finely engraved mouldings and optional parts across four grey styrene runners and one in clear plastic for the glazing and lights.

 •    F-84F-40-RE, 52-6570, Col A G Salisbury, CO 20th Fighter Bomber Wing, United States Air Force in Europe (USAFE), RAF Wethersfield, Essex, UK, 1956
•    F-84F-45-RE, Col Van Etten, CO 401st Fighter Bomber Wing, 1956. The instructions state this unit as being in the UK as part of USAFE, but its regular home was Alexandria Air Force Base, Louisiana, USA
•    F-84F-35-RE, 52-6454 Maroba II, Lt R W Boyden, 511th Fighter Bomber Squadron, 405th Fighter Bomber Wing, Langley AFB, Virginia, USA, 1955
