Start out in weathering with our pick of the Rail Weathering Lifecolor paint set and a trio of top-quality brushes in different sizes to apply and adjust your paints.

Lifecolor’s acrylic paints are water soluble and suitable for application by paint brush or airbrush on plastic, resin, metal, vinyl, wood, cloth and ceramic materials.
This bundle contains the Lifecolor Rail Weathering set – a favourite amongst the Key Model World and Hornby Magazine team – which features six colours that you can’t be without for all manner of railway weathering projects.
The colours featured in 22ml pots are:
- UA719 – Rail Frame Dirt
- UA720 – Rail Track Dirt
- UA721 – Rail Sleeper Grime
- UA722 – Rail Roof Dirt
- UA723 – Rail Weathered Black
- UA724 – Rail Brake Dust

Also included in the bundle are three quality brushes from Lifecolor:
- LC-568-1 – flat brush suitable for streaking a staining
- LC-591-000 – fine long hair brush for detail application
- LC-591-1 – fine long hair brush for detail application
For the best results when diluting for use with an airbrush, we recommend using Lifecolor Thinner, but water can also be used.

To use Lifecolor paints:
1. Clean surfaces to be painted
2. For airbrushing, dilute the colour to a milky consistency using water or LifeColor Thinner.
3. Airbrush at very low pressures.
4. Apply colour in thin coats with a brush or airbrush
5. Allow to dry completely between coats
6. Clean your airbrush with airbrush cleaner and flush through with water
This bundle is available to buy now from the Key Model World Shop.
