Hornby TT:120 CDA Hopper ECC 375026

Hornby TT:120 CDA Hopper ECC 375026

The CDA hopper was a purpose-designed replacement for antiquated China clay wagons used to service the China clay industry in Cornwall. The new wagons combined robust HAA hopper mechanicals with a protective canvas hood to keep the cargo dry in transit from the clay dries to docks for onward transport.

This four-wheeled, air-braked covered hopper model with running number 375026 and ‘ECC International’ logo represents one of the fleet of 137 CDAs built between 1987 and 1989 which were seen behind classes 08, 37, 50 and 66 - all of which are available for TT:120 from Hornby.

The CDAs always worked in block trains and a triple pack is also available in the Hornby TT:120 scale range.

I started buying Aeroplane Monthly in ‘76 or‘77. By the early 80’s I bought a subscription and I still have it. I love themagazine.
Pretty much the only game in town for the stuff I'm looking for.
