Emirates

Established four decades ago, Emirates is now the largest airline in the Middle East and widely recognised as one of the safest in the world. Currently, the Emirates Group operates 261 passenger, cargo and business jet aircraft, of which 231 are airworthy.

As of December 2023, Emirates operated an average 1,500 weekly flights from its passenger hub at Dubai International Airport and about 70 freighter weekly departures from Dubai World Central. Operating a fleet of modern and efficient wide-body aircraft, Emirates’ global network spans 148 cities in 79 countries, including Dubai.

By 2040, the entire fleet of passenger, cargo and corporate aircraft currently in use by the airline will be retired and replaced with almost 400 aircraft, including 60 Airbus A350- 900/1000s, 35 Boeing 777-8s, 170 Boeing 777-9s, 20 Boeing 787-8s, 15 Boeing 787- 10s and five Boeing 777Fs.
