Modelling a railway station often forms the centrepiece for a layout and Hornby’s new TT:120 scale sectional straight platform is ready to plant and the perfect addition for any model railway. Buy now from the Key Model World Shop for £18.49.

Platforms are an integral part of any railway station, often constructed with brick foundations to raise passengers to the same level as carriages. Adding a station is central to many model railways and introduces both scenic interest and realism.

Moulded in highly detailed resin, Hornby’s new TT9008 straight platform features a highly detailed moulded resin finish that can form a platform of any length. Depicting an island platform prototype that is accurate for a track on one or both sides of the platform, the piece features a stone flag surface and red brick side walls.

This TT:120 scale ready-to-plant structure, the straight platform is suitable for a station of any region or era, and robust resin casting offers a combination of fine detail and durability.

Hornby’s TT9008 straight platform is ideal for use with the growing range of TT:120 Settle and Carlisle-based station buildings and all rolling stock currently produced by Hornby. Appropriate for any era of modelling right through to the present day, this double-sided platform is a vital and sturdy addition to any new or experienced journey into TT:120 scale.
