Adding lineside structures makes a layout come to life and Hornby’s new TT:120 scale station building is ready to plant and the perfect centrepiece for any railway station. Buy now from the Key Model World Shop for £44.99 (RRP £49.99).

Often the focal point to a railway station, the station building is vital and often including waiting rooms, stores and a ticket office. Originally, station architecture was ornately decorated and followed a common aesthetic style used by each railway company, the choice of station building for a layout is therefore just as important as rolling stock when creating a scene.

Depicting the ever-popular Settle and Carlisle Railway in Northern England, Hornby’s new TT9002 is a highly detailed and accurate replica of the station at Dent. Moulded in resin, the station is fully decorated in an attractive stone, green and white colour scheme and is ready to plant on any TT:120 scale model railway. A resin shell provides a strong structure, with finely rendered etched metal window frames and accurately decorated stonework, wooden doors and bargeboards.

Well suited to modelling the famous Midland route or any country station, the building is ideal for any starter or advanced layout in TT:120 scale. Perfectly complementing Hornby’s growing range of TT:120 locomotives, rolling stock and Settle & Carlisle structures, Dent station is applicable to any era of layout through to the present day.
