Lineside structures make a layout come to life and Hornby’s new TT:120 scale goods shed is ready to plant and the perfect addition for any shed scene on a model railway. Buy now from the Key Model World Shop for £28.99 (RRP £31.49).

An important structure used to store and transfer goods between railway and roads, goods sheds were ubiquitous and once found across Britain’s railways at stations and contained goods yards. On a model railway, including a goods shed also adds significant operational interest for shunting and completing a scene.

Based on a Midland Railway stone design and featured along the famous Settle & Carlisle Railway, the new Hornby TT9007 goods shed is a highly detailed and accurate replica of those constructed across the Midlands and north.

Moulded in resin, the goods shed is fully decorated in a smart green and white colour scheme matching Hornby’s accompanying Settle & Carlisle buildings and is ready to plant on any TT:120 scale model railway. A resin shell forms a strong building, with impressively decorative etched metal window frames, clear glazing and accurately detailed stonework.

Well suited to modelling any location across the Midland network, the new goods shed is an ideal structure for any layout in TT:120 scale. Perfectly complementing Hornby’s growing range of TT:120 freight rolling stock and Settle & Carlisle structures, this suits any era through to a preserved goods shed in the present day.

  • 180mm (L), 90mm (W), 72mm (H)
