Boeing 757 : 40 Years
It’s a significant year for the Boeing 757 which entered service on January 1, 1983. Various versions have been developed in that 40 year period - as airliners, corporate jets, and freighters. A few were even converted to flying testbeds to evaluate avionics and sensors for the F-22 Raptor and with NASA for landing approach systems.
Operated by some of the world’s best-known airlines, over 1,000 of the type were built and Boeing enjoyed huge commercial success with its family. This 116-page special publication, released to mark that 40th anniversary, provides a detailed insight into one of the world’s most familiar aircraft.
