Every day since March, Royal Air Force Boeing E-3D Sentry AEW1 airborne warning and control system (AWACS) aircraft have been controlling NATO fast jets attacking targets in Libya. Tim Ripley recently flew on a mission with 8 Squadron to see the Sentry and its crew in action.

LIBYA: HUSKIES OVER THE MED
Canada was one of the first nations to commit to provide men and machines to enforce United Nations' sanctions against Libya as part of the `coalition of the willing'. Dottore Claudio Maugeri went flying with the `Huskies' of Canada's 437 Squadron to witness part of that contribution at work.
